Pub to Pub

This morning we watched Ben in the Pub to Pub race. It runs from Dee Why to the Newport Arms, 14 km. Ben finished 18th out of 1700.
Then it was breakfast in Warriwood at Cafe Nautilas. Overlooking Warriwood and Mona Vale Beach.

Rons Guitars

Ron's 2 Guitars. That he doesn't play all that well. The acoustic is a Monterey acoustic electric Resonator.
The electric is a Fender Bullet Deluxe 1982 Model, also called a Fender mutt. Nick named it that because they are supposedly made up of leftover Fender parts ie. Telecaster, Statocaster.

The Peak

Jane & I have just got back from 3 days and 2 nights at "THE PEAK" to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was fantastic! Views of the Kanimbla Valley from the indoor spa and balcony. Mobs of Kangaroos bounding by. Delicious food provided by Chris & Angela. Oh so much food. You would never go hungry. After arrival and a spa with a bottle of French Champaign, dinner was served. Antipasto platter, followed by Lamb shanks stifado and then a dessert of chocolate mousse. A bottle 1989 Penfolds St Henri was the wine of choice. The next day we had the freshest eggs I have ever seen. Then it was off to the "ZIG-ZAG RAILWAY" For a ride on a steam locomotive. Great fun. Then it was back to the chalet and a gourmet picnic lunch. Followed by a dip in the spa with yet another bottle of French Champaign. Then our special BBQ pack arrived. In order to see that you have to see "MR T & MS B'S T4 2" Back into the spa after dinner and then.........

Kookaburra Problem

Well, the fish pond had to be cleaned after the first week. I had a problem with killer kookaburras. They took a liking to Koi & exotic goldfish, I lost a Plum face Fantail to a KILLER. So a decision was made to install a filter and bird mesh. Hopefully this will solve the problem
